Advanced Dog Apprehension, Handling & Self Defense Level 2 Course

Looking to see if there is enough interest for Jim DEBOON to put on the Advanced Apprehension, Handling & Self Defense Level 2 Course at his Red Deer facility before year end. Possible course dates, October 28 - 31 or November 4 - 7. If you have anyone interested in attending, please contact Jim directly at 587-877-1332 or office@canadaeta.com for more details. He needs minimum of 6 people to run the course, at this point 3 or 4 are interested.

ADVANCED APPREHENSION, HANDLING & SELF DEFENSE: Level 2
This 4 day course will provide intense “hands-on” training, dealing with difficult dogs. This course will be held at our facility in Red Deer with a maximum 14 participants, and will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:

-Advanced self defense against single or multiple dog attacks
-How and when to use barriers
-Calming signals, Reading the dog and behavioral management
-Loading and handling injured animals
-Identifying communicable disease and protocol
-How to testify in serious dog bite situations
-Dog bite protocol
-Defense tools and related options
-Environmental safety management

The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, and a certificate of completion.
